Guardian ad Litem Services

Guardian ad Litem (GAL)- An appointed GAL focuses on the voices of children involved in the judicial process. These children and families may have a history of abuse, neglect, abandonment, or have been forced in their parents' ongoing litigation. The GAL represents the child and his/her best interests in court, in addition the GAL independently conducts a throuough investigation on behalf of the child through record reviews, interviews with individuals involved in the child's life. A report is created with recommendations geared towards best interests for the child.
